Auburn Police Make Arrest in Big Apple Robbery

AUBURN, Maine (WGAN) Police in Auburn have made an arrest related to a Big Apple robbery that took place on the morning of October 24th.

27-year-old Franklin Dee of Auburn was arrested Thursday morning at his home on High Street. Dee is accused of entering the store at around 6:20 the morning of October 24th, demanding money from the clerk after threatening the use of a weapon. He made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say physical evidence left behind led them to Dee’s arrest. He’s being held at Androscoggin County Jail on $5,000 bail pending an initial court hearing.
