Biddeford food pantry opens back up


BIDDEFORD, Maine (WGAN) The Biddeford food pantry has resumed its normal operating schedule.

They’ve also announced new preventative measures to lessen the spread of coronavirus. They announced on their website that individuals who visit the food pantry will not be allowed inside. Tents will be set up outside the building, and that’s where food will be distributed to those who need it.

Volunteers will also be wearing masks and gloves.

The food pantry on Elm Street is back to its normal hours of operation, which are Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
