Body of Jay man found pinned underneath ATV

Police in Oxford County are investigating after a man was found dead pinned underneath an ATV on the side of the road.

The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office says a newspaper delivery person found the body in Canton around 4:15 Friday morning in a ditch off Tessier Road.

According to CBS 13 news, the body was identified as 61-year-old Bradford White of Jay. Deputies said he lost control of his ATV before ending up in the ditch.

Investigators believe speed and alcohol were factors in the accident.

The crash is still under investigation.
