UPDATE: Police say Madore has been safely located.

Police in Brewer have issued a Silver Alert for a man who went missing from an inn.

Police are asking for help finding 72-year-old Davis Madore. He was staying at the Vacationland Inn in Brewer and was last seen around 5 p.m. on Oct. 6.

He was not in his room, but his belongings were found inside.

Police say Madore has cognitive issues and may be confused and unable to give his name.

Madore is a white male, 5’10”, with gray hair and a long gray beard, and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
