Three more Portland music venues to require proof of vaccination or negative virus test


Three Portland music venues will require concertgoers to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative virus test.

On Wednesday, the State Theatre, Thompson’s Point, and the Portland House of Music announced that audience members will need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test from the past 48 hours.

State Theatre and Thompson’s Point implemented those requirements immediately, while the House of Music will wait until August 26th.

According to the Portland Press Herald, The Opera House at Boothbay Harbor and Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield are among the venues in Maine that have already made the decision to require vaccinations.
