Cornish Walgreens closed after woman crashes vehicle through wall

Police say the Walgreens in Cornish was damaged after a woman crashed her SUV into the building on Thursday.

The York County Sheriff’s Office says the 77-year-old Limerick woman accidentally put her Subaru in drive instead of reverse while trying to leave the Walgreens on Maple Street. Her vehicle crashed through the wall and into the store.

No one was injured.

Deputies say the building took major structural damage and will remain closed.
