PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) A Cumberland County corrections officer is behind bars after being charged with dealing cocaine.

The Portland Press Herald reports that 22-year-old Davis Glazener of South Portland was arraigned Wednesday in Portland. Cumberland County Sheriff Kevin Joyce says Glazener has been a corrections officer for two years. Joyce says officials learned about the allegations Tuesday from an informant.

Glazener did not enter a plea and was moved to York County Jail, where he’s currently being held. He was also put on administrative leave.

The sheriff’s office will conduct it’s own internal investigation once the criminal investigation is over.
