No one was injured in a crash that caused damage to the Post Office in Gray.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened Monday around 2:30 p.m. The driver, 90-year-old Marguerite Quimby of Gray, failed to stop while approaching a handicap spot, continuing on to the sidewalk. She then hit a structural pillar, newspaper stand and the building itself.

A parked vehicle that was occupied was also hit. Neither Quimby nor the occupant in the other vehicle were hurt.

Police say the cause of the crash was failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
