RAYMOND, Maine (WGAN)  The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at Mexicali Blues in Raymond.

Deputies say the suspect went into the store on Roosevelt Trail around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon with a knife and demanded money from the cash register.  He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say the suspect is a white male with an average build.  He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, jeans and had his face partially covered.

Witnesses told police he got into a gray or silver sedan a short distance from the scene.

The sheriff’s office is trying to determine if this robbery is related to a robbery at a Subway in Standish that happened on Saturday.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
