Nearly 45,000 Maine customers at Norway Savings Bank may have had their personal information compromised.

The bank says it suffered a cyber breach involving a third-party vendor back in August, but they claim there’s no evidence that personal information has been or will be misused.

They started informing customers of the breach after completing an investigation last month.

The bank is offering free credit monitoring and identity theft protection to impacted customers.
