Death of man found near Presumpscot River not considered suspicious

Police say a man’s body was found near the Presumpscot River on Wednesday night.

Westbrook Police say they responded to a report of a man found unconscious near the river around 6:30 p.m. He was located by the shore on Brown Street. First responders determined he had died.

Police said the death does not appear to be suspicious.

The investigation is ongoing.
