Dozens of virus cases at rehab center; colleges to get money

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) Maine health officials say a rehabilitation center in Augusta has dozens of cases of coronavirus, including patients and staff members.

The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention says 41 residents and 14 staff members have tested positive as of Sunday at Augusta Center for Health and Rehabilitation. One resident has died. Maine has had three outbreaks of the virus in long-term care facilities.

In other virus-related developments, Maine’s higher education institutions will receive more than $41 million through the CARES coronavirus relief act. Also Maine’s higher education institutions will receive more than $41 million through the federal virus relief act
