Driver Injured After Collision with Septic Truck

WINDHAM, Maine (WGAN) The driver of an SUV is seriously injured after colliding with a septic truck in Windham on Monday morning.

Our info partners at CBS 13 News report the crash, which happened around 6:30 a.m., shut down part of River Road and sent one person to the hospital. The driver of the SUV crossed the center line into the path of the truck, then went off the road, with the vehicle coming to a rest on it’s roof. No one in the septic truck was injured.

State police are investigating the cause of the crash.

River road was re-opened by 11:00 a.m.
