Driver Suffers Non-Life Threatening Injuries in Box Truck Accident

BRUNSWICK, Maine (WGAN) The driver of a truck carrying live lobster suffered non-life threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Brunswick.

Brunswick police arrived at the scene of the crash on Route 1 northbound around 11:30 Wednesday morning.

Police say the refrigerated box truck had left the roadway, exited the right shoulder, then rolled over, spilling some of it’s cargo into the road. The driver, 39-year-old Jose Albino Horrach of South Portland, was brought to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
