Two people were arrested and two children are now in DHHS custody after drug agents seized fentanyl from a Bangor home.

Shannon Moss with the Maine Department of Public Safety says agents seized the drugs from an apartment on Kenduskeag Avenue late Wednesday afternoon.

32-year-old Taleek McFadden and 33-year-old Cassandra Means were arrested and face drug charges. Police say agents found fentanyl in the kitchen where two children, ages 5 and 9, could access it.

McFadden and Means were brought to Penobscot County Jail where they made bail.
