ALFRED, Maine (AP)   A former teacher at a Maine high school has pleaded not guilty to a 14-count indictment charging her with having a sexual relationship with a student.

The Portland Press Herald reports 29-year-old Jill Lamontagne, of Kennebunk, is charged with gross sexual assault, sexual abuse of a minor and unlawful sexual touching. She is free on $1,000 bail.

Lamontagne is accused of having the relationship with a student at Kennebunk High School who had been in her class before the contact began. Lamontagne’s attorney has also asked a judge to order prosecutors to turn over a copy of a videotaped interview with the student. The attorney calls the charges against Lamontagne “completely untrue.”

Lamontagne was a health teacher. She was placed on administrative leave in June.
