Summer is fast approaching, and the Farmer’s Almanac is predicting a warm but stormy one this year.

The almanac’s predictions were released Thursday, and call for a “greater-than-average frequency” of thunderstorms.

It also says the southern and eastern regions of the country will be dealing with above-normal summer temperatures, with “sizzling” conditions arriving in the northeast by mid-to-late summer.
