FBI Releases Enhanced Video from String of Recent Robberies

After a string of nine armed robberies in ten days, the FBI has released a compilation of surveillance videos. The three minute video highlights details captured by the security cameras that could help identify the suspect.

Though no one has been hurt in the robberies, police are worried that a confrontation could turn violent. They say the robber is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

The string of robberies began on March 20th at Riverside Gas Station in Portland. The last reported robbery happened Thursday afternoon at China Eatery in Old Orchard Beach. The Portland Press Herald writes that other robberies were reported at Lil’ Mart in Falmouth; Good Things Variety, Subway and the Daily Grind in Westbrook; Express Mart in Cumberland; China Taste in Portland; and Aroma Joe’s in South Portland.
