Fire destroys a beloved store and post office in Minot


The Village Trading Post in Minot is being called a total loss after a fire that began around 9:00 on Saturday morning.  Crews were called to the scene and found heavy flames and smoke in the area and had to call in 9 different fire departments to get the blaze under control.  The fire reportedly started while the business was open.  There were no injuries reported and no word yet on a cause of the fire.  A Go Fund Me Page has been set up to help the family who lived above the store who reportedly lost everything in the fire.
