BANGOR, Maine (WGAN)  A former Hodgdon man has been sentenced to more than three years in prison on child porn charges.

United States Attorney Halsey Frank announced Thursday that 38-year-old Anthonio Dicentes was sentenced to 40 months in prison and five years of supervised release for possession of child pornography.

Dicentes, who now lives in Madison, Florida, plead guilty in September to charges.

According to court records, between about June 2009 and September 2015, Dicentes had image files depicting child pornography that he purposefully and repeatedly downloaded from the internet.  At least one of the images depicted a child under the age of 12.
