Four hurt after driver of bus on I-95 in Burnham falls asleep


Police say four people were hurt and 36 others were forced to spend the night in a local motel after the charter bus they were riding in overturned on Interstate 95 in Burnham late Tuesday night.

State police said in a news release that the bus drifted off the side of the road after the driver fell asleep.

The Arrow Stage Line bus overturned and landed on its passenger side.

The bus was coming from Schenectady, New York and was on its way to a Christmas concert in Orono.

The driver was a 65-year-old man from Omaha, Nebraska. He was cited for failing to maintain control of the bus.
