Fryeburg police looking to identify driver who almost struck students at crosswalk


FRYEBURG, Maine (WGAN) Police in Fryeburg are asking for the public’s help identifying the driver of a vehicle who failed to stop for students at a crosswalk.

Police say the blue pickup blew through the crosswalk on Route 302 in front of the Molly Ockett Middle School Tuesday morning around 10:45. They also knocked down the crosswalk sign.

Police are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
