Gardiner man charged with murder in connection with weekend shooting

GARDINER, Maine (WGAN) Maine State Police say a person who was shot over the weekend in Gardiner has died.

Police said 22-year-old Jordan Johnson died Tuesday at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Police on Wednesday charged 21-year-old Dylan Ketcham of Gardiner with murder in connection with Johnson’s death.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. Saturday at a residence on Lincoln Avenue.

Ketcham was expected to appear in court Wednesday afternoon in Augusta.

Another man involved in the altercation remains hospitalized with stab wounds.
