Gas Prices Down

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Gas prices are falling a bit in northern New England.

Prices in Maine have fallen 3.1 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.83 per gallon. Prices are down 1.9 cents per gallon in Vermont to $2.87 a gallon, and down a penny in New Hampshire at $2.78 a gallon.

The latest GasBuddy survey shows the national average has fallen 4.7 cents per gallon last week to $2.83 a gallon. The national average has dropped 1.6 cents during the last month and stands 39.6 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
