Gorham Woman Charged in Hollis Burglary


HOLLIS, Maine (WGAN)  State Police say a Gorham women has been arrested in connection with a burglary two months ago in Hollis.

Police say on January 18, a trooper responded to a reported burglary on Clarks Mills Road.  Police say a .22-caliber Beretta handgun and about $200 in cash had been stolen.

Police say at the time, they developed probable cause for a warrant to arrest 34-year-old Jennifer Talbot for burglary and theft, but they were unable to find her.

Police say they have been working on tracking down Talbot which ultimately led to her turning herself into the Cumberland County Jail on Sunday.

She’s being held at York County Jail on $5,000 cash.
