Hollis man charged with manslaughter in deadly 2022 motorcycle crash

A Hollis man has been indicted for manslaughter in connection with a deadly motorcycle crash in Gorham last September.

Ernest Dubeau, 39, was also charged last month with aggravated driving to endanger, aggravated criminal mischief and operating a vehicle beyond class restrictions.

Police say he was towing a trailer with a pickup truck on Route 22 when he turned onto Hodgdon Rd. and crossed into the path of a motorcycle.

The bike was being operated by 47-year-old Richard Bernard, who died as a result of the crash.

Dubeau is scheduled to be arraigned and enter a plea in two weeks.
