Large Amount of Drugs Seized in Turner


TURNER, Maine (WGAN)  Maine State Police say a large amount of drugs have been seized after police responded to a man attempting to overdose.

Police say they were called to Fern Street on Thursday for the report of the man.

Police say he was taken into protective custody.  Police say while that was happening, they observed drug activity in the residence.

Police ended up seizing over 150 doses of LSD, Oxycodone, Xanax, Hashish, 16 containers of marijuana “dab or shatter” and 7.5 pounds of processed marijuana.

Police say the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency was on scene and assisted with the investigation.
