TURNER (WGME) – A crash involving an ambulance is now under investigation.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department says an ambulance that was carrying one patient hit a pickup truck on Rt. 4 in Turner on Sunday, which then hit a Jeep.

The patient in the ambulance didn’t suffer additional injuries.

The two paramedics and one person from another vehicle were taken to the hospital.

The sheriff’s department says none of the injuries were serious.

The department also says it appears that speed and alcohol were not factors in this crash.
