The life of a Maine police officer who was killed in the line of duty is being remembered three years after his death.

April 25th has been named “Corporal Eugene Cole Day” in Maine. Cole was fatally shot by John Williams on April 25th, 2018 in Norridgewock. Williams was sentenced to life in prison.

Law enforcement agencies around the state are remembering Corporal Cole.
