Maine voters can now request absentee ballots for the November election.

That’s according to a press release sent out Monday by the office of Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows.

The ballots won’t be available until 30 days before election day, but under Maine law, voters can request one three months ahead of the election.

Residents can request ballots online or by contacting their town or city clerk.

All absentee ballots must be received by a voter’s municipality by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
