Maine State Police arrest three Waldo County residents for theft and drug trafficking

Stockton Springs (WGAN) – A report of stolen tools and building supplies led Maine State Police to a whole lot more than just the stolen goods on Thursday.  The troopers responding to the theft report from a construction site in Stockton Springs were led to the residence of 33-year-old Joshua Pomeroy of Stockton Springs where they recovered a large quantity of the stolen tools and building materials.

On further investigation police obtained a search warrant for another residence in Stockton Springs where 40-year-old Joshua Breault lives.  There they located additional stolen goods and a lot of drugs.  Found at Josh Breault’s residence was approximately 30 grams of heroin, 11 grams of methamphetamine and 4 grams of cocaine base as well as a large quantity of cash.

Arrested in connection with this investigation was as follows:

Joshua Pomeroy – Receiving stolen property, theft, Violation of conditions of release, criminal mischief.  Joshua was on several sets of bail conditions at the time of his arrest.

Joshua Breault – Aggravated Trafficking of Schedule W drugs

Megan Sawyer – Unlawful Possession of Schedule W drugs Methamphetamine.  Sawyer is 45 years old from Stockton Springs.
