Maine woman injured in head-on crash in Kingfield

KINGFIELD, Maine (WGAN) A Stratton woman was injured following a head-on crash in Kingfield Wednesday morning.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says 54-year-old Cherylon Hayden was injured and taken to the hospital following the crash on Main Street near Narrow Gauge Street around 8:20 a.m. It happened when a vehicle being driven by a 36-year-old Kingfield man lost control on a patch of ice and crossed the center line, heading into the path of Hayden’s vehicle and crashing into it.

The man was not injured.
