Male hospitalized after shooting at Bangor home

BANGOR, Maine (WGAN) Police are investigating an early morning shooting in Bangor.

Police responded around 4:20 a.m. Tuesday to reports of an altercation at a home on Highland Avenue.

When they arrived, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to the hospital by the Bangor Fire Department.

A press release from the police department said the victim’s condition is currently not available.

The release said no further information is available at this time.
