Man Accused of Domestic Violence at Bangor Homeless Camp


A 31-year-old Maine man is facing domestic violence charges after police say he assaulted a person inside a car at a Bangor homeless camp.

Police say they were sent to the Camp Hope encampment on a report of an assault inside a parked vehicle.

Officers says they arrested Christopher Glidden of Bangor after speking with the victim, the suspect, and a witness

Glidden faces four separate charges and is being held in the Penobscot County Jail

His charges are as folllows:

Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault 17-A 208-D.1.A (Class B)
Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening 17-A 209-A.1.A (Class D)
Criminal Mischief 17-A 806.1.A (Class D)
Violating Conditions of Release 15 1092.1.A (Class E)
