Man arrested after driving drunk on wrong side of interstate

Maine State Police arrested a man Friday night for allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road while under the influence.

The Augusta Regional Communications Center and Sagadahoc County Communications Center reported receiving several 911 calls around 9:55pm of a driver heading south in the Northbound lane on I-295 in Bowdoinham.

According to CBS 13, A trooper from the Maine State Police caught up with 40-year-old David Stafford of Brunswick and arrested him for operating under the influence of alcohol, driving to endanger, and failure to stop for law enforcement.
