A man involved in a wreck that claimed the life of a Madison woman last November has been charged with manslaughter.

According to the Kennebec Journal, 40-year-old Bradford Enos of Atkinson was indicted last month.

Police say he was driving a truck on I-95 in Waterville when he hit car that then crashed into Michelle Demchak, a 59-year-old nurse.

The woman was trying to help someone involved in a separate crash when she was struck by the vehicle.

State police say there were 10 crashes that night and road conditions were icy at the time.

Officials say Enos was driving too fast for the conditions.

He faces 30 years in prison if convicted.
