Man crashes car and flees while under the influence of drugs

A man from Portland has been accused of crashing his car and fleeing the scene while driving under the influence of drugs.

According to CBS 13, at around 10:40 p.m. on Thursday, police got reports of a man driving recklessly on Route 1 in Brunswick.

47-year-old Randy Boucher crashed into a guardrail and fled the scene. Police found him about a mile away from the crash site and arrested him.

He is being held at the Cumberland County Jail without bail.
