Man on the run after Buxton standoff turns himself in to police

Photo: Buxton Police

A man wanted by police following a standoff in Buxton last week has turned himself in.

According to CBS 13, 44-year-old Brady Dix Sr. of Buxton turned himself in to the York County Jail on Tuesday.

On May 18th, police said Dix was on the run after they surrounded a home in Buxton where they believed he had gotten in a fight with his adult son and was armed with a shotgun. It turned out he had already left before police arrived at the property.

Dix was out on bail and having the weapon would violate his conditions of release.
