Man riding motorcycle suffers serious injuries after striking deer in Lisbon

Police in Lisbon say a man riding a motorcycle was seriously hurt when he struck a deer.

Police said the accident happened on Ferry Road around 8:15 Tuesday night. 33-year-old James Bragg of Lisbon, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, struck the deer.

Police said he suffered serious head injuries, and was taken by Life Flight to Central Maine Medical Center.

The accident is under investigation and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed it to give them a call.
