Man sought by police for dragging Maine deputy with vehicle arrested

A man wanted for dragging a Maine deputy with a vehicle earlier this month was arrested Friday, along with three other people.

37-year-old Kevin Litchfield was being sought by police after they say he dragged a deputy in West Paris. The deputy fell and was almost run over.

According to CBS 13 News, deputies received information Friday that Litchfield was living off the grid on Kittridge Brook Road in Sumner.

Police say Litchfield and his girlfriend, 54-year-old Cynthia Pelletier, were living in a cabin and trespassing on private property.

The couple, along with 50-year-old Jack Sisson and 28-year-old Christopher Waterman, were taken into custody at the cabin.
