Portland police say a man who was exposing himself to passers-by while standing on his front porch was taken into custody on Wednesday morning.

Police arrested 59-year-old Steven Ricci after responding to a 911 call at 915 Brighton Avenue at 8:52 a.m. They said he was engaging in indecent conduct while wearing nothing but shoes.

Because traffic was busy, several motorists saw Ricci engaging in lewd conduct. He has an extensive history of indecent conduct and assaultive criminal behavior, according to police.

He was charged with Visual Sexual Aggression Against a Child Under 14 and Indecent Conduct.
