Milo Couple Face Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

YORK, Maine (WGAN) A couple from Milo are charged with drug trafficking after a traffic stop on Thursday night.

Maine State Police stopped the vehicle on the turnpike in York around 11pm. Troopers and a drug dog found 12 grams of crack cocaine and 12 grams of heroin inside the vehicle. 43-year-old Maureen Clark and 52-year-old Edwin Marrero, both of Milo, were issued summonses and released from the scene. Marrero was also in possession of suboxone without a prescription.

Both have a court date set in York County.
