WEST BATH, Maine (WGAN) The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office believes a body found in the woods of West Bath is that of 70 year-old Edward Barrett. Barrett has been missing since last November.

The Maine Warden Service spent several days searching around Barrett’s home on Beaver Brook Road the month he went missing. Authorities say a resident found his body Saturday in the woods near Hill Road in West Bath.

There is no evidence of foul play but officials waiting on an autopsy for final confirmation.
