The body of a Plymouth woman who was reported missing last Friday was found in Newport.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office says Pauline Berardi had last been seen leaving her home on Aug. 15.
They said her body was found in the woods near Williams Rd. in Newport on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say there’s no threat to the public.
An investigation is ongoing.
