New York man charged in connection with homicide in Bangor

Police have charged a New York man in connection with a killing in Bangor in December of 2020.

Bangor police said a warrant has been issued for the arrest of 28-year-old Khalid Harris. He’s charged with murder in connection with the death of 28-year-old Syies Adams, also of New York, who was found unconscious at a residence on Union Street back on December 10th. He was later declared dead and his death was ruled a homicide.

Harris is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact their local police department.
