You may be able to catch a glimpse of the northern lights here in Maine tonight.

The strongest part of a geomagnetic storm is expected to arrive during the day, but it may continue into the nighttime.

If so, the aurora will be visible from Maine and as far south as New York.

The aurora will most likely be visible around 11 p.m. when the sky is at its darkest.
