STANDISH (WGAN)— After being terminated by the town council in July, Former town manager Kris Tucker was given a severance package, including health insurance, on August 9.

However, Tucker’s lawyer does not consider the matter settled. “We will be communicating with the town in the coming week about a demand to resolve this matter,” Attorney Gregg Frame told the the Lakes Region Weekly earlier this week.

Tucker’s contract was terminated without cause by the town council July 23rd, which entitles him to severance and health care payments. The amount of the severance was $41,013, and he also received an additional $3000 in health insurance according to Standish Finance Director Scott Gesualdi, who is also serving as the town’s co-manager.
