Police say “critical incident” in Aroostook County has been resolved

UPDATE: Maine State Police say the situation has been resolved and the shelter-in-place order has been lifted.

Police were responding to a critical incident in Aroostook County on Wednesday.

Police haven’t released details about the situation in Mars Hill, where the public has been asked to shelter and lock their doors.

We’re expecting updates from police as the incident unfolds.
