Police say water search for missing Naples man has been exhausted

AUBURN, Maine (WGAN) Police say the water search for a missing Naples man whose vehicle was found in a river in Auburn has been exhausted, but the missing person investigation will continue.

67-year-old Mark Conley did not show up for a family gathering on Christmas day. He was last seen Dec. 24th in the Lewiston area.

Capt. Donald Foss with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says a search in and around the Little Androscoggin River in Auburn had concluded Thursday morning. He says the investigation will continue.

Capt. Foss says his office will continue working with the Auburn Police Department and the Maine State Police to explore all possibilities.

Conley is about 5′ 10″, weighing 200 pounds. He has blue eyes, balding grey-white hair and a white goatee.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office or the Maine State Police dispatch.
