Police in Saco are investigating two reports of a man acting suspiciously while approaching young females.

Police said the incidents happened on Ferry Road on Sunday and Monday. In one, two juveniles said the man exited his vehicle and began to quickly approach them with a cord or a rope he had pulled from his trunk. The two met up with a jogger nearby, and the man left. They were able to take a picture of the man from a distance, seen above.

Another incident was reported Monday afternoon, in which a man got out of his vehicle and began approaching a young woman. She says he tried to engage her in conversation that made her feel unsafe, and started to follow her before eventually leaving the area.

Both gave similar physical descriptions of the man: white, in his 20s with blonde hair and facial hair. In the first incident his vehicle was described as a silver or gray Toyota or Honda sedan. In the second, it was reported to be a black minivan.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Saco Police Department.
